On March 15, 2017, the President of the Europe-China Investment Association , Li Yonggang, accompanied the Chinese Consul General in Marseille, Zhu Liying to meet the municipal government of Montpellier, France, and received a friendly reception by the Mayor Philippe SAUREL. 

The participants discussed the friendship and cooperation between Montpellier and Chengdu over the years, fully affirmed the achievements in education, culture, health care, sports and trade, and will promote two-way investment and high-tech Exchange and cooperation. Philippe SAUREL Mayor will visit Chengdu in November this year, Sichuan Province, France Investment Promotion Office will coordinate the reception work.
